Taurinya is a charming Catalan village nestled at the foot of the majestic Massif du Canigou, offering an unspoilt natural setting ideal for Hiking and discovering nature. The village is famous for its old iron mines, which can be explored on themed trails. Nearby, the Abbey of Saint Martin du Canigou and the City of Prades invite you to enjoy cultural visits and discover their Romanesque and medieval heritage. Local markets and panoramic views of the Conflent mountains offer a taste of the Catalan art of living. Between history, nature and tradition, Taurinya is the perfect starting point for exploring the treasures of the Catalan Pyrenees.

    Merci :)

    Merci à Bernard pour son accueil humain. Chez lui, pas de boite à clé mais des vrais échanges, quelle joie.
    Le gîte est idéalement situé, à l'entrée de la vallée de la Rotja, permettant de se rendre aussi bien en montagne qu'au bord de la mer facilement.
    Le village est piéton, ce qui amène un calme serein pour un repos confortable.
    Le gîte est très agréable : bel agencement des pièces, lumineux. Rien ne manque.
    La vue sur le Pic du Canigou est très jolie, un spectacle permanent du matin au soir, selon l'évolution de la météo.
    Et le jardin : petit mais très joli avec ces plantes qui offrent un bel écrin de douceur. De beaux repas nichés dans cette verdure avec vue sur le Canigou.
    Des propriétaires aussi disponibles que discrets. Nous gardons un très bon souvenir des moments partagés avec vous, merci pour vos égards et votre générosité.
    Vous nous avez offert deux très belles semaines de vacances en famille.

    Fijne plek

    Een heel hartelijke ontvangst door de eigenaar. De gite heeft een fantastische ligging in een bergdorpje, met uitzicht op de bergen. Centraal gelegen voor uitstapjes in de omgeving.
