At the foot of the mythical Canigou, this Holiday cottage opens its doors to you for a stay between mountains, heritage and nature. Nestled on the outskirts of the village of Corneilla-de-Conflent, this vacation rental invites you to discover a region rich in tradition, grandiose landscapes and activities to suit all tastes.
The Conflent is an ideal destination for lovers of Hiking, outdoor sports and cultural visits. Take to the trails leading up to Canigou, climb aboard the famous Train Jaune, explore the streets of Villefranche-de-Conflent and Eus, ranked among France's Most Beautiful Villages, or visit the emblematic abbeys of Saint-Michel de Cuxa and Saint-Martin du Canigou. For relaxation, the thermal spas of Vernet-les-Bains and Molitg-les-Bains welcome you for a Wellbeing break.
This renovated 19th-century stone house of character houses the owner's discreet residence and the Holiday cottage, while respecting the privacy of each guest. The unenclosed communal garden, planted with a hundred-year-old oak tree and flowers, is equipped with sun loungers and offers a breathtaking view of the Canigou mountain range. The Holiday cottage has its own private outdoor space, where you can enjoy some quiet time together. The welcoming owner can show you a bucolic path leading to the nearby Saint Vincent river.
From every room, you'll enjoy views of nature and the mountains.
Ground floor with access via two steps:
Kitchen with dining area and sitting area, opening onto the 26 m² terrace with garden furniture,

Shower room with toilet separated by a door.
First floor:
Living room: 2-person sofa bed, bookcase,
Two interconnecting bedrooms: one with a Bed 90x190, the other with a Bed 160x190.
This centuries-old house has been renovated. However, the secure staircases are uncomfortable for people with reduced mobility and/or young Kids.

Notamment celle des "castells", ces pyramides humaines emblématiques de la Catalogne, symboles de solidarité et de dépassement, puisqu'ils font partie d'une des rares associations de Catalogne Nord, Les "Pallagos del Conflent".

Un accueil très chaleureux de la part de ce très gentil couple ! Un hébergement très fonctionnel ! Très bien situé, vous avez pas loin la possibilité de faire du canyoning avec des eaux naturellement chaudes, du ski, un super centre de soin thermal, de magnifiques randonnées, la visite de la ville fortifiée de Villefranche, des supers restaurants alentour! Bref que de points positifs pour cet hébergement ! Merci pour votre accueil ! Et au plaisir !

Excellent accueil du proprietaire.Gïte bien équipé avec vue sur le Canigou.
Seul bémol,c'est un Gîte agréable pour 2 ou 3 personnes max avec un escalier très pentu

En effet, comme dans toutes les maisons anciennes avec de hauts plafonds, l'escalier est pentu, ainsi que le mentionne le descriptif du Gîte. La plupart des personnes accueillies venant pour effectuer des balades et des randonnées, cela n'a pas posé de problème.
Votre remarque sur la capacité maximale du gîte nous étonne dans la mesure où vous n'étiez que deux et que plusieurs groupes d'hôtes sont venus à quatre ou à cinq et n'ont formulé aucune réserve à ce propos. -

Inelda et François Emmanuel ont été des hôtes très accueillants y compris avec notre toutou. Ils sont également arrangeants et de bon conseil pour les randonnées et les alentours. Le gîte est très bien équipé et la terrasse superbe.

Sue So much to see and do
We had a wonderful stay, Thanks to the incredibly friendly and hospitable owners. You can visit many historical sites and there are a variety of excursions. The yellow train (the Canary) is highly recommended. The cottage is very cool on the ground floor. Also when it is 38 degrees outside. Upstairs, it's a bit warmer. The owner is installing insect screens so you can open the window in the evening. The layout is simple French. All kitchen appliances are stocked. There's plenty of privacy around the cottage. A beautiful view of the sacred Mountain Canigou. In the morning, you can pick up delicious fresh bread and croissants from the bakery in the village, a 10-minute walk away. All together, a perfect place for a holiday!

Nous recommandons ce gîte, il est très très bien équipé, rien ne manque!
Si vous cherchez la tranquillité, alors c'est l'endroit, et tout près des sites à faire autour.....
Le propriétaire prend soin de vous appeler pendant et après le séjour et vous donne des recommandations de visites..........
Pour l'accueil et le départ la personne a été très sympa!Rien à dire...........

Les Cyclistes Vue sur le canigou
François-Emanuel hat uns ausgesprochen freundlich empfangen, hat uns viele gute Hinweise zu lokalen Veranstaltungen und praktische Tipps gegeben. Das alte Steinhaus hat viel Charme und liegt sehr ruhig mit verschiedenen Möglichkeiten sich im Garten zu verweilen. Besonders haben wir bei hohen sommerlichen Temperaturen den Schatten unter der über 100 Jahre alten Eiche genossen.Das Haus ist gut ausgestattet und die Matratze sind von guter Qualität. In der Küche finden sich neben der üblichen Ausstattung wie Mikrowelle und Spülmaschine weitere Geräte wie verschiedene Kaffeemaschinen, Steamer, Saftpresse, Standmixer etc.. Wir würden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen.
