Welcome to Clara, a small village in the Conflent region.
The Holiday cottage "La Maison de Nicou" is located on the square near the church.
Close to nature, you'll enjoy a calm and serene stay while taking advantage of the village's friendly atmosphere (Market and local festivals).
Clara is an ideal starting point for exploring the area by mountain bike or on foot.
Hiking trails take you to the Dolmen de la Lloseta and the Gorg de Las Toupines (waterfall), as well as the Chapelle Saint Etienne de Pomers.
To Taurinya to discover the Salver mining site and the magnificent abbey of Saint Michel de Cuxa.
Climbing, canyoning and via ferrata enthusiasts will be delighted by the Gorges du Llech.
The Conflent region abounds in cultural and natural treasures: Villefranche de Conflent and its Vauban citadel, Eus and its view of the Canigou, the Py and Mantet Nature Reserves, the Yellow Train to discover the villages of the Catalan Pyrenees Regional Nature Park.
Every summer, Prades hosts the Pablo Casals Festival and Ciné-Rencontres.
Wellbeing enthusiasts can take advantage of the spa resorts of Molitg les Bains and Vernet les Bains.

This carefully renovated village Holiday cottage is organized on several levels:
1st level:
Fully equipped kitchen with dining area, living room with pellet stove
2nd level:
Bedroom: 1 bed 140 x 190
Shower room with WC
3rd level:
Mezzanine: 2 beds 90 x 200, can be twinned into 1 bed 180 x 200 with adjoining reading area
External access to a large laundry room on the first floor: freezer, washing machine, drying rack, bike storage.
This old house has been completely renovated. However, the stairs are safe but uncomfortable for people with reduced mobility and/or young Kids.
Non-smoking accommodation.
Reserved parking space in front of the Holiday cottage. Communal parking lots in the village.

« La Maison de Nicou » était une ancienne maison familiale. Avec l'aide de nos enfants, nous l'avons transformée, embellie pour en faire un petit havre de paix afin d'y recevoir les personnes souhaitant se poser et se ressourcer au contact de la nature omniprésente aux alentours. Nous sommes très attentifs au bien-être de nos visiteurs et apprécions de leur faire découvrir la convivialité de notre village ainsi que les richesses de notre terroir catalan. Ravis aussi de leur offrir à leur arrivée des produits locaux, petit-avant-goût d'une gastronomie très variée ! Nous apprécions beaucoup de rencontrer des personnes venant d'autres départements ou d'autres pays et sommes très heureux lorsque celles-ci reviennent chez nous.
Au pied du Canigou, « La Maison de Nicou » saura vous charmer par sa simplicité élégante, son confort et son atmosphère apaisante où l'on se sent bien.

Les Gwen's Séjour à Clara dans la Maison de Nicou topissime!!
Le gîte est très agréable, tout neuf, nous étions les deuxièmes locataires. Déco très soignée, un vrai nid douillet.
Un grand merci également à Régine et à Olivier, les propriétaires du gîte, pour leur accueil et leur gentillesse. Merci pour tous les conseils de visite, et pour l’improvisation en guide!

A jamais les premier Séjour à Clarac
Un accueil super et chaleureux de la part de régine et Olivier, en tant que premier locataire la présentation du gîte et les installations étaient parfaite.
Environnement calme au cœur du village de Clarac tout en accessibilité pour les visites et les randonnées.
Nous conseillons vivement ce lieu pour des vacances dans un environnement de montagne au pied du gîte.
