On the wine route, near the Via Ferrata of Saint-Paul-de-Fenouillet, the Gorges de Galamus, the castles of Quéribus, Peyrepertuse and Puylaurens, you can explore part of the region on the Train du Pays Cathare et Fenouillet, the red train. The Tautavel prehistory museum is also open to visitors.

Hiking and biking trails start from the gîte. In the village of Saint Paul de Fenouillet, on the banks of the Agly river, this pleasant maison de maitre boasts shaded terraces and private outdoor spaces, as well as a large enclosed park of 3200 m², shared with the owners, winegrowers. They will be delighted to offer you a tasting of their wines, distributed in France and internationally, in their cellar, upon reservation. You can also visit their vineyards. From the gazebo in the grounds, you can admire the impressive cliffs. A pétanque court is also available.

The owners love antiques, so they have searched for period furnishings in keeping with this manor house.

THE GITE :

On the ground floor, accessed by a few steps from the terrace and park:

- Kitchen: connected thermomix, filter coffee maker, pod coffee maker, oven, microwave, freezer, dishwasher opening onto the 1st "morning" terrace with garden furniture and electric plancha.

- Dining/living room with TV, opening onto the 2nd "evening" terrace, with garden furniture and deckchairs

- Library with TV - Laundry room with washing machine and dryer

- Separate toilet

First floor:

- A bedroom with 2 beds 90 x 190 with the possibility of combining them into 1 bed 180 x 190

- A bedroom with 1 bed 150 x 190 with balcony and beautiful view of the park and cliffs

- One bedroom with 1 bed 140 x 190 with balcony and beautiful view of the park and cliffs

- Two bathrooms, each with shower and toilet.

Parking is available in the enclosed grounds (automatic gate control supplied). The outdoor spaces are not overlooked by the gîte's occupants. A few meters from the gîte, the discreet owners live on site, above the winery. The gîte is adjoined by a year-round rental property, whose independent entrance is via a cul-de-sac.
