High above the Vallespir valley, the village of Montferrer offers a privileged setting for discovering an area branded by the Haut Vallespir landscapes and an authentic rural heritage. From the Holiday cottage, you can easily reach the path leading to the ruins of the medieval castle, whose remains dominate the valley and give an insight into the area's eventful history. You'll also find several chapels and oratories dotted around the surrounding Countryside, adding a special charm to your walks. Hiking trails are numerous and varied, ranging from shady routes around the Pic de la Souque to panoramic routes leading up to La Creu. A little further afield, Amélie-les-Bains-Palalda offers a spa break, while Céret boasts a lively cultural scene and a modern art museum. In less than an hour's drive, you can also reach Collioure or Argelès-sur-Mer for a day by the Sea.

This single-storey Holiday cottage welcomes you in a traditional, comfortable atmosphere. The living room features a sitting area and a dining area, ideal for two people. The separate kitchen is equipped with 3 gas burners + 1 electric burner, a kettle, a filter and Nespresso coffee maker, to make everyday life easier. One bedroom with double bed (160x200 cm) and en-suite bathroom with WC.

Outside, you'll enjoy a fully enclosed private garden, ideal for al fresco dining or relaxing in the shade after a Hiking. The terrace provides additional space for enjoying the unobstructed view over the valley. Access to the Holiday cottage via an outside staircase. The owners' house is nearby. Numerous walks and Hiking trails are directly accessible from the Holiday cottage. A second Holiday cottage for up to 7 people is also available.
