La Maison de Barry is a family home converted into a gîte in an exceptional setting. We love the magnificent view, the fabulous peace and quiet and the green setting, all within the village of Douelle. The interior is very pleasant and comfortable for up to 8 people. This house has a soul, with furniture and decor from family heirlooms combined with modern comforts, giving the whole a warm atmosphere where you immediately feel at home! With its superb view over the village of Douelle, the river Lot and the Château de Mercues in the distance, its supervised swimming at 800m, its proximity to Cahors (10kms) with all shops and services...and the sound of cicadas in the background...we love La Maison du Barry!

House built in 1988, with on the ground floor: a hall leading to the living/dining room and the fully-equipped kitchen with built-in units, these 2 rooms have direct access to the terraces via bay windows, separate wc, an office room leading to 1 bedroom with a double bed (140cm) and a bedroom with 2 single beds (90cm) that can be made into a double bed (180cm) for 2 people, and a bathroom. Upstairs: 2 attic bedrooms, each with a 140cm bed, shower room, separate wc. Electric heating. Wifi internet access. Unenclosed grounds of 3000m², 2 terraces with garden furniture and sun loungers.
