Nestled in the heart of the picturesque village of Mayrinhac du Francal, the gîte "La Maison Décros" welcomes you for an enchanting stay for two. This traditional 19th-century Quercy house has been fully renovated to combine old-world charm with modern comforts. Situated just a stone's throw from the village's 12th-century church, and on a little-used pedestrian loop, it offers an authentic and peaceful immersion. Ideally placed for exploring the wonders of the Lot, such as Rocamadour, Gramat, Autoire... The name "La Maison Décros" is an affectionate nod to its former owner. Come and discover this haven of peace where every stone tells a story and every path leads to a new adventure.
First floor: living room with fully-equipped kitchenette, wood-burning stove and reversible air-conditioning, then stairs up to an attic shower room with WC and an open-plan attic bedroom (1 x 160cm double bed) with reversible air-conditioning. Wifi access. Reversible heating throughout the gîte. Private parking space for 1 car. 2 outdoor areas with garden furniture, parasol and sun loungers. The owners live behind the gîte, with no overlooking. For your convenience, electricity (heating and air-conditioning) is included in the price!

You truly feel at home here.
The lovely little village of Mayrinhac sits slightly elevated; by car or bike, you can quickly reach Meyronne (small supermarket) or Rocamadour. By car, it’s about 15 minutes to Gramat for larger shopping trips. From the accommodation, countless walking and hiking paths begin right at the doorstep.
The house is located very close to the church (bells at 7 a.m. for morning prayer).
It’s beautifully renovated, perfectly equipped, tastefully decorated with a charming blend of old and new, and offers a very cozy atmosphere. In front of the house, you can sit in the sun and enjoy a coffee.
The host has the wonderful gift of always being available while remaining discreet. It’s a joy to experience such warm hospitality while traveling.

DiDo un nid difficile à quitter,............
On ne pouvait rêver mieux: au centre d'un hameau tranquille, niché au cœur des causses, entre bosquets, gorges, et pâturages, à portée d'un réseau de chemins pédestres, à mi distance de grands sites en toute proximité, et chaleureusement accueillis par ses propriétaires. Un gîte de haute valeur, bien conçu et isolé pour résister aux assauts des canicules estivales. Des vacances pour oublier la voiture, les connexions, apprendre à respecter un rythme de vie favorable aux rencontres, à la réflexion et au repos. Merci à notre hôte de nous avoir fait partager une partie de son patrimoine.

Nous avons la chance de résider dans un secteur préservé et sommes particulièrement heureux de pouvoir indiquer les randonnées et patrimoines qui manquent parfois de visibilité. Beliou Un gîte idéal pour deux personnes.
Une maisonnette confortable, dans un petit village tranquille, d'où l'on pourrait ne pas avoir envie de bouger tant le repos s'y déguste (expérience estivale). Propriétaires adorables et discrets. Si vous aimez marcher, bon nombre d'itinéraires dans un rayon de 30/40 km, de très beaux villages, des curiosités souterraines, et Rocamadour... si vous ne pouvez vous passer de la foule... tout en appréciant un site remarquable.

Avis très sympathique, merci.
C'est vrai que notre région est particulièrement riche en sentiers de randonnées que ce soit en boucles en boucle de distances diverses ou en chemin d'itinérances au long cours. La découverte de hameaux ou de chapelles un peu perdus passe souvent par la marche.
