In the medieval quarter of the city of Cahors—famous in particular for its iconic Valentré Bridge, a UNESCO World Heritage Site—the Loft du Château du Roi is located in a building listed as a historic monument. Once through the gate, you’ll be charmed by the cobblestone courtyard filled with flowers, which leads to the building’s entrance and its beautiful staircase—taking you up to the loft on the 3rd floor (no elevator) and its covered terrace. The moment you step through the door, you’ll love this beautiful, light-filled space, decorated and furnished in a pleasant contemporary style. From the spacious living area with its many windows, you’ll enjoy the view over the City’s rooftops. Upstairs, you’ll discover the cozy bedroom with its “studio-style” glass roof. For your wellbeing, Stéphane provides Wi-Fi and Netflix access, as well as sheets and towels. Third-floor apartment with no elevator, featuring a free parking spot a 5-minute walk away, and the option to park nearby to unload your belongings. Shared courtyard on the ground floor and shared covered terrace on the 3rd floor. The entryway leads to the bright main living area, which features an open-concept kitchen with built-in cabinets and full amenities, a living room area with a sleeper sofa and flat-screen TV, a bathroom, and a separate toilet. The upper level is accessed via a spiral staircase: a mezzanine with a sofa bed that can serve as an extra sleeping space for 2 people, and an attic bedroom with a high ceiling (low roof structure, beam at 1.50m). The apartment’s front door is equipped with a smart lock. Fans are available, and the apartment has Electric heating. A portable air conditioner is also available.
