Welcome to "La Maison", a charming Holiday cottage nestled in the peaceful village of Lacave, just a stone's throw from the Dordogne river. This house of character is the ideal retreat for a relaxing vacation. Designed to accommodate up to 6 people, it offers three bedrooms, a fully renovated kitchen, ready to welcome your cravings for local cuisine - why not try a cep omelette or a local walnut tart? The sunny terrace, a real living space in fine weather, awaits you for quiet breakfasts, aperitifs or dinners under the stars. Birdsong for company, a gentle breeze, and sometimes the scent of a barbecue in the making... Just a few minutes' walk or bike ride away, the Dordogne unfurls its cool, clear waters: swimming, lounging or picnicking on the banks, the choice is yours. For the more adventurous, head for Saint-Sozy and its canoe trips, a magical way to discover the cliffs, castles and caves that line the river. The region is full of treasures: the Lacave caves, Rocamadour, the Souillac gourmet Market, or the Hiking trails... Here, every day is a promise of discovery. Holiday cottage adjoining the owner's house (not overlooked) and on the edge of a country road (little traffic). Access via a staircase at the front of the house and another staircase leading to the terrace on the other side. The entrance hall leads to a separate kitchen, a shower room and an independent toilet. The living room with TV leads to a bedroom with a 140cm bed and 2 further bedrooms with 140cm beds. Access to the terrace from the living room (gas plancha and barbecue). Unenclosed grounds. Bed linen included. Linen, end-of-stay cleaning, electricity and heating optional (subject to meter reading).
