Once upon a time, a barn known as 'la grange démolie' (the demolished barn) was used as a sheepfold and cowshed. With no more sheep on the farm, this barn has been partly converted into a 60m² Holiday cottage ideal for 2 people (+ 1 baby). With its bay window offering a superb view of the surrounding landscape alternating meadows (occupied by cows or horses) and low dry-stone walls, its large, bright living room and its furniture and decor harmoniously blending authenticity, quality, comfort and aesthetics...you'll enjoy an unforgettable experience at the heart of this estate, located on a 200ha property, in the calm of the Parc Naturel Régional des Causses du Quercy, 1.5km from the village of Assier (Renaissance castle and church, shops). Close to major sites (Padirac, Rocamadour...) but away from busy roads. Numerous walks and bike rides (direct access with bike rental 20 km away). Beds made on arrival (washed linen), bathroom linen and kitchen towels provided. Cleaning at the end of your stay and central heating are included in the rental price.

Ground floor: bicycle storage area. First floor: bright, spacious living room with lounge, dining area, fully equipped kitchenette, large bay window with sliding doors and covered balcony, attic bedroom separated from the living room by a curtain (1 bed 160x200), shower room (Italian-style shower) and toilet. Washing machine. Central heating by pellet stove, to be paid extra at end of stay. Baby kit available: cot, high chair, bathtub, safety gate...Outside, private fenced garden, large communal courtyard with fishing pond, and above-ground wooden swimming pool (4.12 diam x 1.20 deep) to be shared with tenants of 'Le Garde-Pile' cottage.
