Dating back to 1710 and fully renovated in 2010, it elegantly combines the cachet of the past - exposed beams, dressed stone - with contemporary comfort. Here, time seems to stand still: the calm of an unspoilt village, where every step echoes in the footsteps of the Middle Ages, while the village's shops and services are within easy reach. The house, discreet and warm, reveals itself as a haven of peace. Its shaded terrace, nestled between stone walls, is the ideal place to enjoy an early morning coffee or a glass of wine at dusk, lulled by birdsong. Inside, every detail has been thought of to make you feel at home: modern facilities, comfortable bedding, and a cosy atmosphere that invites you to relax. Martel, listed as one of France's Most Beautiful Villages, is a jewel in the Lot region. Whether you're strolling through medieval streets, discovering local markets or visiting the major sites of Périgord and Quercy, your stay promises to be rich in emotion. Here, history and nature come together to offer you an authentic and rejuvenating experience. Ground floor: living/dining room with fully-equipped open kitchen (dishwasher, washing machine, fridge-freezer, microwave...). Upstairs: 2 bedrooms (1 double bed and 2 single beds) and a bathroom with shower and toilet. Oil-fired heating (surcharge €10/day). Outside: a terrace covered by an electric roller blind, with garden furniture and a small enclosed courtyard, with a covered area for storing large items (e.g. bikes, motorcycles, caving equipment, baby carriages, etc.). Holiday cottage not suitable for people with reduced mobility.
