Located in the village of Crégols, 3 kms from St CIRQ LAPOPIE, in the heart of the Parc Naturel Régional des Causses du Quercy, the Gîte de l'Igue comprises an 18th-century stone house to which has been added a tobacco drying shed built in the 1960s. The house has been restored in the old-fashioned style, and the drying shed in contemporary style. You'll love the contemporary, harmonious decor, and especially the spacious, bright bedrooms, each with en suite shower room and reversible air-conditioning. The terrace, shaded by a canvas - a real patio! - is sure to be appreciated in fine weather: an intimate, totally private place! The river LOT is just a stone's throw from the gîte, where you can cool off, swim or even fish. Discover the riches of the surrounding area, including the village of Saint-Cirq-Lapopie and the prehistoric cave of Pech Merle. And also the surrounding villages and towns of Calvignac, Cajarc, Limogne en Quercy, Figeac, Cahors or Villefranche de Rouergue.
Village house on 3 levels. Ground floor: entrance hall, laundry room (washing machine, tumble dryer) shared with the owners but with independent access, shared garage for bikes or motorcycles. A few steps lead up to the living area with integrated kitchen and lounge area, with direct access to a 30 m² patio; 1st floor: 2 bedrooms, each with en-suite shower room - plus WC for one - (2 beds 1.80 x 2.00m, separate WC with washbasin. 2nd floor: 1 attic bedroom (1 bed 1.40 x 2.00m and 1 bed 0.90 x 1.90m) with private shower room and WC. Reversible air-conditioning in all rooms. Wifi access (fiber). From the patio, access via a staircase to an unfenced, gently sloping 300 m² plot. All-inclusive package. The owners have a studio just downstairs with a totally independent entrance, which they occupy occasionally.

Cette très vielle maison bâtie probablement au XVIII appartenait historiquement aux parents des actuels propriétaires.
Ils y avaient construit tout contre dans les années 1960 un séchoir à tabac, faisant également office de hangar agricole.
Les propriétaires ont eu à cœur de restaurer l'ensemble (en très très mauvais état !) avec l'aide d'un ami architecte : à l'ancienne pour la maison en pierre, en mode contemporain et construction bois pour l'ancien hangar. Les travaux ont été terminés en 2021.

Nous avons passé une semaine formidable à Crégols. L’accueil a été chaleureux et la communication facile. Le gîte est très beau, les équipements sont nombreux. Nous avons adoré prendre l’apéro le soir dans le jardin avec une jolie vue sur les toits du village. Nous étions avec un bébé de 11 mois et tous les équipements étaient prévus également. Et je pense que c’est la meilleure literie que j’ai pu tester dans une location ! Bref, c’était parfait !

FROM NYC AMAZING STAY!
What a breath of fresh air!
From the fist day to the last this is a perfect vacation home to stay in . Updated, tasteful, pristinely clean and spacious, it was a pleasure to wake up here each morning and return here at the end of the day.
We will return and highly recommend to anyone planning a trip to the Lot!

Hélène et Jean Phi Très bonnes vacances
Nous avons passé 2 semaines en famille dans cette superbe demeure pleine de charme et restaurée avec gout. La pièce principale et les chambres sont spacieuses, la literie est très confortable, la cuisine est bien équipée, la terrasse ombragée nous a permis de prendre nos repas dehors, et la clim était la bienvenue aux heures les plus chaudes
Des vacances au calme, loin des embouteillages dans ce petit village paisible, des randos à faire pour découvrir les bords du lot, soit à pied, soit à vélo, des bases nautiques à proximité avec différentes activités proposées, un terrain de pétanque... Tout était réuni pour passer de bonnes vacances en famille comme nous l'avons fait ou entre amis (chaque chambre a sa propre salle de bain et son mobilier).
Un grand merci à Bernard et Catherine pour leur accueil et leur réactivité.
