In the heart of a green setting, discover this charming Holiday cottage in an old family farmhouse, with enclosed garden on the banks of the Lot, calm and shady, perfect for recharging your batteries or fishing, just a stone's throw from the most beautiful sites in Quercy (Figeac, Saint Cirq Lapopie, Cajarc, Rocamadour,...).

Nestled on the banks of the river, our Holiday cottage is a haven of nature, designed for lovers of wide open spaces and tranquility. The enclosed garden, calm and shady, invites you to relax, play in the open air and enjoy long summer evenings. Down below, the river reveals the dam, an ancient causeway that forms a small waterfall that changes with the flow, offering a soothing natural spectacle that's alive at every moment. Here, the Lot and nature come together to offer an authentic and rejuvenating stay, where rest, fishing and wonder combine to perfection. Fishing enthusiasts or those looking for a leisurely stroll on the water will appreciate our boat and the fish tank provided. Without a motor, it invites you to cruise peacefully on the Lot and tease the fish in an unspoilt natural setting. Each outing depends on the weather and your level of caution (you may motor at your own risk), and from the Holiday cottage you can explore the nearby treasures of the Quercy region. Cajarc, the nearest, is within easy reach for a stroll through its narrow streets, a visit to its lively Market or a moment of relaxation in its typical atmosphere. Continuing on, you'll discover Saint-Cirq-Lapopie, one of France's most beautiful villages, perched high above the valley and offering an unforgettable panorama. Figeac then opens up its medieval streets and rich heritage, before Rocamadour, an impressive clifftop town, takes your breath away. The "voie verte" between Larroque-Toirac and Cajarc invites you to explore the unspoilt countryside on foot or by bike. The gîte, accessible by a few steps, comprises a living room with kitchenette, wood-burning stove and electric radiators. It has 3 bedrooms (1 x 140cm bed, 1 x 160cm bed and 2 x 90cm beds), a shower room and WC. Outside, you'll enjoy a 20m² terrace with garden furniture, deckchairs, a large parasol and a gas plancha, as well as 2000m² of enclosed grounds planted with trees. A carport is also available. It is not possible to recharge an electric vehicle on site. For families, baby equipment can be provided on request, as well as outdoor games (swing set, possibility of installing a small swimming pool for Kids). There is no Wi-Fi on site, but 4G and 5G are available. Electricity is included in the rental price, subject to reasonable use. Holiday insurance is required for the duration of your stay. The owners live nearby and are available to help you settle in if required.
