Detached holiday cottage (former barn) on a farm (sheep ranch), with three steps leading up from the outside; a traditional-style house. Very peaceful, restored in the local style (exposed original wood beams, stone walls). The house offers a beautiful view, located in the Causses du Quercy Regional Nature Park (the “Black Triangle of Quercy”), on a shaded, well-maintained lot surrounded by a dry-stone wall. Shared swing set, trampoline, ping-pong table, and slide. The price does not include: tourist tax, and a heating surcharge for consumption exceeding 56 kW/week. Places to visit: Saint-Cirq-Lapopie (35 km away), Rocamadour and the Padirac Chasm (50 km away), the Pech Merle Cave (25 km away), the old city of Figeac, the Champollion Museum (28 km away), Cahors and its famous Valentré Bridge, 50 km away, as well as numerous small villages. Hiking trails to explore cazelles, dolmens, and small dry-stone walls. The region is also renowned for its cuisine (foie gras, truffles, duck breast, leg of lamb, cheeses...). Living room, kitchen, fireplace, sitting area, 4 attic bedrooms (2 140-cm beds, 2 90-cm beds, 1 children’s bed measuring 1.80 x 1.10, Baby bed), bathroom, 2 toilets, terrace, enclosed courtyard with patio furniture and lounge chairs, semi-enclosed yard surrounded by a dry-stone wall, swing set, slide, trampoline, and ping-pong table to be shared with the owners’ young kids. Wi-Fi is available in the owners’ house (300m from the holiday cottage). Pets are not allowed. A portable air conditioner has been added to the living room.
