In the heart of the Causse de Pasturat, just 100 meters from the Way of St. James (GR 36), the Domaine du Causse invites you to enjoy a peaceful getaway in an authentic Quercy-style house dating back to 1834. Located between Cahors, Saint-Cirq-Lapopie, and the famous Pech Merle Cave, enjoy a pristine setting where nature reigns supreme. Each room features a private entrance, ensuring a peaceful stay. In the morning, a hearty breakfast is served on the covered terrace, overlooking the surrounding Countryside. Here, birdsong, the quiet passage of deer, and the playful antics of squirrels set the pace for each day. During the warmer months (June through September), the Piscine—located 80 meters from the house—offers a refreshing escape. As night falls, the dark sky over the Causse reveals an exceptional display of stars. A warm, friendly atmosphere, simplicity, and heartfelt conversations await you for a stay of at least two nights. The table d’hôtes, available by reservation 48 hours in advance, rounds out this authentic and gourmet experience.

This traditional Quercy-style house features the “Mara des Bois” garden-level room (1 160-cm bed, shower room with toilet) with an entrance from the garden, and the “Gariguette” bedroom on two levels, accessible from the covered terrace with a separate entrance (on the ground floor: separate toilet with sink, bathroom (shower, bathtub, sink); and, upstairs, 1 bedroom (1 180-bed, 1 Extra bed 90x190, reversible air conditioning). Central heating throughout. Fiber-optic Wi-Fi. Air-conditioned dining room in the owner’s home. Common area (sofa, bookshelf, board games, table, chairs, top-mounted refrigerator, mini-oven). Covered terrace of 23 m² for breakfast and dinner with the hosts (reservation required 48 hours in advance). 11,000 m² of open grounds: Piscine (8x4 with a flat bottom, 1.30 m deep) secured with a bar-top cover, sun loungers, and patio furniture.
