Welcome to the “Padirac” holiday cottage, part of the “Au Grand Bonheur” estate—a fully renovated traditional Quercy barn where authenticity, comfort, and nature come together to offer you a rejuvenating stay.

Located in a peaceful setting, just 2 km from local shops, this 77-square-meter single-story holiday cottage accommodates up to 4 people and is the ideal base for exploring the wonders of the Lot while enjoying a truly relaxing getaway.

In the heart of the Causses du Quercy Regional Nature Park, designated a UNESCO Global Geopark, you’ll stay in the famous “Black Triangle,” recognized as one of France’s most beautiful sites for stargazing. Here, far from light pollution, the nights reveal a sky of exceptional clarity.

Just a few minutes away, set out to explore the region’s must-see sites: the Gouffre de Padirac (5 min), Rocamadour (10 min), the dolmens, and the historic villages of Carennac, Loubressac, and Autoire with its magnificent waterfall. Caves, castles, farmers’ markets, hiking, canoe trips down the Dordogne, river swimming, or family-friendly activities… there’s something for everyone.

After a day of exploring, return to the tranquility of your fully enclosed private terrace. Settle in comfortably on the patio furniture, share a meal from the barbecue, or simply let time slip away to the rhythm of the Lot countryside and the birdsong.

To extend these moments of relaxation, you’ll enjoy a spacious shared green area and a salt-heated pool with a sliding dome, open from May 1 through the end of September (10 a.m. to 7 p.m.), shared with the guests of a second Holiday cottage. And to make these moments even more special, you can also book a Wellbeing session right on-site—a moment just for yourself (magnetic therapy, energy healing, Reiki, crystal bowl, or Tibetan singing bowl).

The holiday cottage features a pleasant living area with a sitting room, dining area, and fully equipped open kitchen (dishwasher, fridge-freezer, microwave), a sofa bed, a television, and two comfortable bedrooms with mosquito nets and fans (one bedroom with a 140 cm double bed and one bedroom with two 90 × 200 cm beds, both fitted with new bedding), a bathroom with a washing machine, and a separate toilet.

To travel lighter, bed linens are available for rent (€15 per bed per stay) as well as bath towels (€10 per person per stay). I also recommend opting for the end-of-stay cleaning package so you can enjoy your stay right up to the last minute (€80).

Electricity usage includes 8 kWh per night; any additional usage will be billed based on the meter reading taken at the end of your stay.
