Welcome to our little corner of paradise in Miers, in the Lot, in the Dordogne Valley, where peace and quiet reign supreme. If you're looking for rest, nature and serenity, but are also close to the shops (1km), you've come to the right place. Situated in the Quercy Regional Nature Park, classified as a "Territoire de villes et villages étoilés" (Starred Towns and Villages Territory) with 39 certified towns and villages. In the "triangle noir", the area with the lowest light pollution in France, you'll be able to admire this beautiful starry sky. Come and stay in this fully-renovated Lotoise house, ideally situated for visiting numerous tourist sites, such as the Padirac chasm (5 minutes away), the Fieux archeosite and its dolmens (5 minutes away), the town of Rocamadour (10 minutes away), and many magnificent listed villages (Carennac, Loubressac, Autoire and its 30-meter waterfall, the highest in the department, etc.).)Bordering the Dordogne Valley and Corrèze, a multitude of sites and activities await you (caves, castles, Hiking, canoeing, Swimming in natural water or Water Park, ...). On site, enjoy the terrace and enclosed private garden with direct access to the kitchen. Near the owners' house and another Holiday cottage (46G11972), a shared green space with a heated, saltwater swimming pool equipped with a sliding dome that will delight you from 01/05 to the end of September. Ground floor: living/dining room, fully-equipped kitchen, 1 bedroom (1 bed 140*190 with new bedding and private shower room), separate toilet. Access to first floor via spiral staircase, landing leading to 3 bedrooms (2 beds 1.40m, 2 beds 0.90m or 1 bed 180), 1 of which communicates with 1 spacious shower room with WC. Oil-fired central heating. Price includes 8kw of electricity per night, subject to readjustment at end of stay. In winter, oil-fired heating 24€/day). Only 1 pet allowed, with a supplement of 50€ for the stay.
