In the heart of the stopover village of Le Caylar, Nathalie and Stéphane offer four rooms in their Maison d'Hôtes, decorated in a nod to their many travels. Each room has its own bathroom and toilet.
A cosy common area is available for coffee or tea. A small fridge is available if needed.
On the first floor, a Restaurant is open for lunch and dinner, offering home-style cooking using local produce. A bar, billiards table and piano by the fireplace make for a pleasant end to the day.
Le Caylar, a picturesque village nestled in the mountains of the Hérault, offers a peaceful setting for a getaway for two. Nestled between the Séranne mountains and the Larzac plateau, it's surrounded by unspoilt nature and offers plenty of opportunities for outdoor activities, including Hiking.
And if you're a history buff, be sure to visit the Templar village of La Couvertoirade, just a few kilometers from Le Caylar.
Fifteen kilometers away, for a relaxing break, there's nothing like a stroll along the Gorges de la Dourbie, where crystal-clear water meanders through wild landscapes, an ideal place for a swim or a riverside picnic.
