Not far from Pic Saint-Loup, in the picturesque hilltop village of Assas, the Gîte de Papy welcomes you for a peaceful and authentic stay. Ideal for a couple or two friends looking to relax and explore, this cozy holiday cottage was designed to combine comfort, tranquility, and a change of scenery!
Make the most of your stay to explore the village with its rich architectural heritage steeped in history; stroll to the 18th-century castle, admire the Saint-Martial Church, or take a walk along the ancient medieval fortifications that are still visible.

Located within the Pic Saint-Loup region, the plains, mountains, steep gorges, and small rivers offer opportunities for beautiful walks or bike rides, culminating in superb panoramic views of the entire region, the surrounding Vineyards, and the Mediterranean in the distance. Montpellier is also only about fifteen kilometers from the village, making it ideal for a visit to this famous City with its iconic landmarks such as the Place de la Comédie, Saint-Pierre Cathedral, the Fabre Museum, the banks of the Lez (for a stroll along the water), or the Jardin des Plantes, a bucolic walk through the City.

The owner’s daughter runs a Western-style riding center in the village (offering lessons for adults and children)—feel free to stop by!

The holiday cottage, located on the first floor, includes:
- A beautiful living area with a sitting area featuring a sofa, TV, and desk, as well as a dining area and a well-equipped kitchen: mini-oven, microwave, refrigerator with freezer compartment, coffee maker, kettle, and all necessary kitchen utensils;
- A bathroom with a shower;
- A bedroom with a double bed;
- A separate toilet;
- A laundry room on the ground floor with a washing machine.

You can park for free in the public parking lots a few hundred meters from the holiday cottage.
