Gîte Le Pontilh

In the midst of nature, discover a charming gîte in a peaceful commune! In the small, quiet village of Saint-Privat, come and stay at Le Pontilh, a tastefully renovated, comfortable and well-equipped gîte, ideal for a vacation with family or friends! During your stay, take a stroll through the picturesque streets of Saint-Privat, discover its ancient church and soak up the charming atmosphere of this southern village.

Explore the local wine cellars and taste the region's wines. A 30-minute drive away, visit Saint-Guilhem-le-Désert, a medieval village listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Lose yourself in its cobbled streets, explore the Gellone Abbey and enjoy the view from the Pont du Diable, a medieval bridge spanning the river. Venture into the Gorges de l'Hérault for a day of spectacular hiking, where you can admire the impressive rock formations. Or take a detour to the famous Lac du Salagou (and the rock formations of the Cirque de Mourèze) for a hike, a relaxing day by the water or a water sports activity on the lake. Mediterranean beaches are also not far away, so you can enjoy a relaxing day in the sun.


The village also has a grocery store and a guinguette where you can enjoy a delicious meal in the evening!


The gîte comprises :
- A large living room with dining area and well-equipped kitchen: oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge with freezer compartment, Senseo coffee machine and traditional coffee maker, kettle, toaster, raclette and fondue machines, and everything you need for cooking;
- Open-plan living room with comfortable sofa, armchair, coffee table, TV and board games;
- A bathroom with walk-in shower, washbasin with mirror, washing machine and toilet;
- A first bedroom for two with a 160x200 cm bed and a closet (and USB sockets for charging telephones);
- A second double bedroom with two 90x200 cm beds that can be made into one 180x200 cm bed, plus a closet (and USB sockets for charging phones);
- A small mezzanine that can be used as an extra bed (140x190 cm) for two people;
- An attractive terrace area in front of the gîte av
