Gîte de la Librairie

Located in the beautiful commune of Saint-Bauzille-de-Putois, nestled at the foot of the Thaurac massif and along the banks of the Hérault river, come and discover the charming Gîte de la Librairie, an 8-person gîte combining tradition and modernity, where you can relax and spend pleasant moments with family or friends! The gîte opens onto a large living room with a lounge area and a dining room/kitchen opening onto the gîte's outdoor garden.

The lounge area features two comfortable red sofas and a small bookcase with books, a reminder that the gîte was once a bookshop. You'll then come to the dining room/kitchen with a beautiful wooden table for enjoying good food with friends or family, as well as a well-equipped kitchen with oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge with freezer compartment, espresso machine and traditional coffee maker... as well as all the cooking necessities for your stay. You'll also find a washing machine in the kitchen.


On the second floor, you'll find the first two bedrooms, each with its own bathroom with shower, washbasin with mirror and separate toilet. Each room has a double bed (160x200 cm) made up of two single beds, a full-length mirror and an extra single bed. One of the two bedrooms has a balcony with garden furniture, with a beautiful view over the gîte's garden! On the second floor, you'll find two further bedrooms organized in the same way, each with a shower room and separate toilet, a double bed and an extra single bed.


Outside, you'll enjoy a lovely terrace with garden furniture, as well as a lovely garden area with deckchairs to soak up the Hérault sun, plus a second wooden table and a ping-pong table for lively games, all in the calm and serenity of the setting!

Just a 10-minute drive from the gîte, discover the famous Grotte des Demoiselles, an exceptional site in the Hérault region of France, classified as a French natural heritage site, a true natural jewel that will take you on guided tours of a unique underground universe with a succession of galleries and rooms highlighted by lighting effects.
