In the heart of a preserved natural environment, this authentic Holiday cottage welcomes you to the mountains of the Haut-Languedoc. Between summer coolness, serenity and wide open spaces, take full advantage of the exceptional landscapes surrounding the Raviège, Vesoles and Laouzas lakes.

This single-storey Holiday cottage is located 8 km from La Salvetat sur Agout, in the heart of the forest that brands the Haut-Languedoc region. The unspoilt natural environment offers a real break from the hustle and bustle, with a cooler climate in summer and the appreciable advantage of virtually no mosquitoes. You'll soon be on your way to Lake Raviège and its 2 nautical bases, which offer a host of activities for all the family, including paddle-boarding, inflatables and pedal-boat rides. Hikers will find a multitude of paths, from the simple family circuit right outside the Holiday cottage, to the famous 1000 steps trail at Lake de Vesoles. Further afield, the landscapes of Lake Laouzas, the forests where mushrooms are picked in autumn, and the narrow streets of Saint Pons de Thomières round off a pleasant outing. Gourmets will delight in the delicious local produce. The curious will appreciate a visit to the Salvetat sur Agout sparkling water bottling plant. Kids will love the many activities in the area, including the honey factory with its glassed-in beehive, the Fishing course, pony rides and treasure hunts, while mountain bikers will enjoy the Haut-Languedoc's signposted itineraries. The single-storey Toucan gîte has a separate entrance, a large terrace and a private garden area. It adjoins 2 other Holiday cottages in a beautiful stone building, formerly a sheepfold. It is located in the owners' grounds. Each Holiday cottage has its own entrance and private space. The spacious living room features a dining area with table and chairs, as well as a sitting area with sofa and TV. A small separate kitchen is fully equipped with filter coffee maker, dishwasher, kettle, toaster, microwave and fridge-freezer. The bathroom has a shower and washbasin. You'll find three comfortable bedrooms: Bedroom 1: one 140x190 bed, 9 m2 Bedroom 2: one 140*190 bed and one 90x190 bed, 12.8 m2 Bedroom 3: two 90x190 beds, 9.8 m2 Outside, you'll find a private area in front of the house with table and chairs.
A large shared garden offers a variety of leisure activities, including a heated swimming pool (7.5 x 4), open from 15-06 to 15-09, secured by barrier and gate, as well as numerous activities: ping pong, billiards, table soccer, soccer, badminton net with rackets and shuttlecocks, and a pedalo accessible on the property's small pool. A room with a library, board games and a washing machine, as well as a bike shed, are also available. Optional cleaning (60 euros) and linen+towels kit (10 euros per person) can be paid for on site if required. The Holiday cottage has wood-fired central heating and a fireplace (1st batch free, then extra charge 10€).
