At 1300m altitude, the "Granges de Trabes" property offers an unmissable experience on pastoral plateaus with the Cirque de Gavarnie as a backdrop. Welcomed by 4 tipis in summer, you'll find your own little nest on the right-hand side of your host's house. Unoverlooked, access to "Francis's Attic" is via a 25m² terrace, revealing a cosy, convivial interior where you can begin to enjoy the pleasures of the Mountain, between the warmth of an open fire and a comfortable refuge. You'll be able to enjoy an open-air milky way as soon as the weather permits. Passing by the barn: Hiking to the Plateau de Saugué with a remarkable view of the famous Cirque de Gavarnie (1h) or Gavarnie (2h) or descent to the village of Gèdre (30min).

Access from the parking lot via a 500m-long sloping track, an extension of the owner's house: 25m² terrace, living room with wood-burning stove/kitchenette, TV, bedroom (1 bed 140x190, mezzanine with ladder for a child), bathroom with toilet. Private parking, another 6-person Gîtes de France® barn nearby, unfenced grounds, tipis on site at property entrance. Electric heating and wood heating included, Bed linen and towels provided, beds made up, baby chair and cot on request.
