Just 15 minutes from Lourdes and the Argeles-Gazost spa, the Castelloubon valley is home to authentic hamlets and barns that have become havens of peace for vacations. La Glysiette is an example of a cozy family nest. Situated 2 km from the village, its road takes you no further than La Scierie, the starting point for a number of forest hikes to the heights of the surrounding peaks. The interior has been tastefully refurbished in soft, luminous colors. The living room is a cosy, convivial space around the fireplace. Outside, between the terrace and the grassy area, you can take advantage of those moments when the mountains offer their calm, their songs, the smell of hay and that magical view. And what a delight it is for the kids to let off steam in the field behind the house! A place for fishing enthusiasts.
Access via terrace, ground floor: living room/kitchenette/lounge area with fireplace, shower room, separate toilet, bedroom (1 x 160x200 bed). First floor: mezzanine (2 x 140x190 beds), separate toilet, bedroom (1 x 160x200 bed). Enclosed grounds, fenced off. Steeply sloping access means you can drive right up to the door, but you'll need to maneuver carefully to get out. A 2-space parking lot, accessible from the main road, gives access to the property via a staircase. Electric heating and wood-burning stove. Utilities included. Wood supplied (quantity from the niche under the insert). Bed linen and towels provided. Wifi via ADSL or 4G available.

J'ai eu le plaisir de séjourner dans ce gîte très confortable, dans un sublime cadre de verdure, au calme au fond de la vallée. J'ai particulièrement apprécié l'accueil et la disponibilité de Carine. La région est propice aux randonnées. Je recommande.

Stef Une semaine dans les Pyrénées
Séjour agréable dans un gite au calme au fond de la vallée. Très bon accueil de la propriétaire qui nous a fourni de bons conseils. Rencontres régulières avec les animaux de la forêt.

Baptiste & Aurélie Un gîte très accueillant
Le gîte est très bien équipé, confortable et joliment décoré.
La cheminée, le chauffage et l’isolation font de l’endroit un vrai cocon bien chaud.

Nous avons passé un séjour très reposant à la Glysiette. Le gîte est plus grand que nos attentes, bien décoré et confortable. Nous avons pu profiter facilement de cette partie avancée des Pyrénées.
