The Gîte is nestled at an altitude of 1300 m, on the edge of the Pyrenees National Park, close to the Néouvielle Reserve with its many lakes and hiking trails, and just 10 minutes from the Spanish border famous for its canyons. You can also take advantage of the many activities on offer in the valley (rafting, horse-riding, climbing, swimming, paragliding, hiking, mountain biking, skiing). In winter, the Piau-Engaly ski resort is only a 10-minute drive away, and if you don't want to take your car, you can take the shuttle bus. After a good day's skiing, you can relax in one of the thermal play areas (Edénéo at the Piau-Engaly resort or Sensoria Rio in St-Lary). Adjoining another rental.
Holiday cottage on the first floor of an old sheepfold with separate entrance: Dining room/kitchenette/living room, dishwasher, TV, satellite TNT, shower room with washing machine, separate WC, 2 bedrooms (1 bed 140x190, 2 beds 90x190), ski room, electric heating, WIFI, parking with 2 private spaces. Christian Un très bon gîte Pyrénéen
Gîte traditionnel Pyrénéen de montagne ; les moutons paissent dans la prairie de l'autre côté de la route, les troupeaux passent parfois sous les fenêtres.
La propriétaire est très accueillante et de très bon conseil visiter la région.
Les photos et le descriptif de l'annonce correspondent en tout points à ce logement fonctionnel, bien équipé et bien isolé ; le petit jardin est un plus pour les pauses farniente après une journée de rando.
Nécessite une bonne organisation pour les courses alimentaires, car autant il est idéalement situé pour le ski à Piau (l'hiver) ou une multitute de randos dans les vallées voisines, il n'y a pas de commerces à proximité.

Bumble Logement agréable et spacieux
Le logement est très confortable et spacieux. Il est très bien équipé, il y a tout ce dont on peut avoir besoin que ce soit la vaiselle, l'électroménager, un grand nombre de patères pour pouvoir faire sécher les vêtements de ski. Les radiateurs électriques sont neufs et particulièrement efficaces, c'est agréable après une journée dans la neige. Il y a un grand vestibule au rez-de-chaussée où laisser les chaussures, etc. L'accès à la station de Piau est très rapide. Et surtout, l'accueil est fort sympathique. Nous reviendrons avec plaisie.
