At an altitude of 1000 m, in the heart of a valley that is the cradle of Pyrenean culture and jealously guarded by the Pyrenean National Park, this area abounds in hikes, lakes and activities, a paradise for mountaineers and contemplative types alike. Situated 50 m from a number of activities, including the municipal swimming pool (open July and August), climbing wall, skating rink, bobsleds (open all school vacations) and city park, this gîte offers essential comfort in all simplicity. Just 1/4 hour away, you can admire the Cirque de Gavarnie, an exceptional UNESCO World Heritage site, or take advantage of the ideal location for a trip to the less famous Troumouse or Estaubé cirques, which have nothing to envy. For the less adventurous, a stroll around the Gloriettes dam is just as spectacular. From this village, free shuttles are organized in winter for easy access to the Gavarnie-Gèdre ski resort.

Daydé Séjour de 7 nuits à Gedre
Merci à Mr et Mme Gabail pour leur accueil chaleureux, le gîte est très propre, fonctionnel tout équipé, proche de petits commerces, et départs de randonnées. Notre séjour s'est très bien déroulé malgré la météo qui n'était pas au rendez-vous !

Blandine Simple et accueillant
Venus pour la semaine pour randonner dans la montagne de Gavarnie nous avons beaucoup apprécié le petit gite des Gentianes. L'accueil par nos hôtes a été cordial et chaleureux. Le gite quant à lui était simple et fonctionnel et sa petite taille avec la pièce à vivre en bas et les chambres en haut participe à son charme. On recommande.

Un grand merci à Ginette et Michel pour la chaleur de leur accueil et leurs conseils avisés !
Le gîte est très bien situé par rapport aux sentiers de rando et aux différents sites (4 cirques aux alentours !).
La ville propose des petits avantages non négligeables (piscine ouverte, terrasses, ...).Concernant le gîte en lui même, il a tous les équipements nécessaires. C'est un parfait "point de chute", cependant un tantinet exiguë si vous venez à 4. Faible connexion internet : vive la déconnexion !!

Gîte tout confort pour nous 3. Très bel accueil des propriétaires. Parfaitement situé pour visiter les 3 superbes cirques Estaubé, Troumouse et Gavarnie.
