Just 8km from Aurignac, L'Ecole à l'Ancienne is the perfect vacation cottage for large families or groups of friends! Set in a quiet hamlet, you can enjoy Gllum is cool outside on the terrace and enclosed garden. Although independent, you can count on the advice of the owners, who live 500m away, to help you discover this beautiful hillside region! Enclosed grounds: courtyard with parking area and terrace, garden. Pets allowed.
A wide range of sporting and cultural activities are available within a 20km radius of the small village of Aulon: hiking in the vicinity of the gîte, fishing in the Louge (in the hamlet), horse-riding 4km away, shops and services, open-air market, prehistory museum and swimming pool in Aurignac (8km), Lac de Sède (swimming, picnics...) in Saint-Gaudens (14km), remarkable site of Saint-Bertrand-de-Comminges 36km away. Something for everyone and every taste!
The gîte is on 2 levels. Ground floor: entrance, laundry room opening onto a small shower room and separate toilet, living room with lounge and Gllum is cool area, separate kitchen. Upstairs: 4 bedrooms, 3 with 1 x 160cm double bed (or 2 x 80x200cm twin beds), and a small children's bedroom with 2 x 90x200cm bunk beds, 1 shower room/WC and 1 second shower room. Gas central heating. WIFI Internet connection.

Mokmik Excellent sejour au gite de l'Ecole à l'ancienne
Tres agréable séjour au gite, avec des attentions d'accueil de Stephane et Sandrine, que nous saluons et remercions car ils sont des hôtes très arrangeants. Malgré l'ancienneté, le gite est confortable et bien chauffé, bien équipé. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié le salon pour les soirées. Le beau temps était au rendez-vous pour les balades à pied depuis le gite, et un peu plus loin en voiture Aurignac à 10mn et Montmaurin à 20mn. Tres peu de commerces dans les villages alentours, il vaut mieux prévoir les courses à l'avance. En résumé 4 jours bien agréables.

Un accueil formidable des propriétaires, le calme absolu, une grande maison super bien équipé, lit super confortable cuisine super bien équipé avec tout le nécessaire et à 15/20mn d’une grande ville (Saint Gaudens) et à 45mn de Bagnères-de-Luchon ville sympathique à visiter au sein des Pyrénées, nous reviendrons dans ce gîte et dans la région.
