Self-catering cottage in Castillon, a complete change of scenery for nature lovers!

Nestling in the middle of the forest and surrounded by the Pic du Gar on one side and the Pic du Burat on the other, this old farmhouse has been completely renovated and is ideal for forest walks, fishing with family or friends. In season, it's not unusual to hear the stag's bellowing and see the hinds... The owners, who are passionate about the mountains and fishing and live on the same property (but not adjoining), will be able to suggest hikes to suit your tastes! From the house windows, you can admire the owners' Merens horses in the surrounding meadows. Pets not allowed.
Many activities nearby: skiing and mountain activities at the family-friendly resort of Le Mourtis, the Pyrénées-Hô tree-climbing park, the Fronsac water sports center... or visit the region: the village of Saint-Bertrand-de-Comminges, the town of Saint-Béat famous for its white marble quarries, Spain via the Val d'Aran... Ball-trap activity on Saturday afternoons 500m away.
Access to the gîte is via a narrow path 1.5km long.
First floor: entrance after two steps, fitted kitchen (integrated oven, 3-burner ceramic hob, fridge-freezer, microwave), living room with dining area and sitting area, bedroom with small shower room and separate WC inside bedroom (1 x 160*200cm double bed). Upstairs: shower room with large shower and twin basins, separate WC, 2 bedrooms each with 1 double bed (160*200cm) and 1 single bed (90*190cm). Garden area. Parking space. Electric heating. Wifi Internet access. Pets not allowed. Enclosed garden.
