This Holiday cottage for 5 people opens its doors to you in an exceptional bucolic setting. Nestled on a hillside in the typical village of Montgaillard-sur-Save, the house combines old-world charm with modern comforts. You'll discover two very large bedrooms with comfortable bedding, ideal for families or colleagues, a vast, light-filled living room with exposed beams for lovers of authenticity, as well as a fully enclosed garden, perfect for Kids or moments of conviviality in the fresh air.
Enjoy breathtaking views of the Pyrenean peaks every morning, while being just a stone's throw from the mythical GR86 hiking trail, popular with walkers and nature lovers alike. An ideal base from which to explore the wonders of the South-West.
There are several routes to choose from: Hiking (GR86 passes in front of the Holiday cottage), cultural discovery (Montmaurin ruins and Museums 12km away, Musée Forum de l'Aurignacien 15km away, Saint-Bertrand-de-Comminges, one of France's most beautiful villages, 40km away), Swimming at the Save Gorges 8km away or at Lake Gimone 18km away (Gers department) etc.
On your return, relax by the private above-ground swimming pool (6.20m diameter, 1m deep). Enclosed courtyard and garden. Holiday cottage adjoins the owners' house.
Access via two steps: entrance into the living room (wood-burning stove), kitchen, 2 bedrooms (1 bed 140cm for 2 people) (3 beds 90cm for 1 person), corridor leading to a shower room and separate WC. No heating in Holiday cottage (closed from October to May).

On est venu en couple dans votre gite du 6 au 13 Septembre 2025, on a adoré. Bravo pour la propreté, l'accueil, les équipements tout était parfait.
On vous donne juste 2 conseils : les canapés ne sont pas confortable du tout, il faudrait mettre un rideau au niveau de la porte fenêtre de l'entrée.On reviendra avec plaisir

Marie & Fab Séjour nature
Un excellent séjour pour les amoureux de la nature, du calme et de la découverte des petits villages des Pyrénées et du bord de la Garonne. Nous avons apprécié la fraîcheur de la maison et le jardin qui offre tout ce qu'il faut pour se sentir bien. Merci aux propriétaires pour leur accueil, leurs conseils et leurs petits cadeaux (légumes frais, miel...).

Vibeke Charming gite in beautiful surroundings
We had a great time. The gite was really pleasant and had everything we needed. Nice bedrooms, very complete kitchen. We especially enjoyed the garden with pool and views over the hills. The hosts were very friendly and provided us with a lot of information of things to do in the area. We visited Roman excavations, canoed on the Save and hiked in the Pyrenees. The only thing we didn't like were the disposable sheets on the beds,we recommend bringing your own.

Séjour très agréable dans une maison tout équipée. Le jardin avec la piscine et la cuisine d'été est super et très appréciable. Nous avons profiter de la tranquillité du lieu pour recharger les batteries.
