In the City and in the Countryside! Holiday cottage lovingly restored with local materials, in the former miller's house dating from 1870, in a charming Lauragais village, 30km south-east of Toulouse.

Sorèze pine for the bedroom floors, exposed stone and beams on the ground floor. It was in the former home of the miller of the four Montbel mills—which no longer exist—that Marie-Célie, the owner, undertook four long years of renovations before opening this holiday cottage. With a deep passion for the local region, she offers you a comfortable family stay in a quiet residential neighborhood.
Thanks to its proximity to the village, everything is within walking distance: shops, restaurants, the Lake, and more. The Les Echaunes holiday cottage takes its name from the old neighborhood where Marie-Célie’s parents lived—a family originally from the Drôme region.

The photos will inspire you to explore this wonderful region of Lauragais: Toulouse, 30 km away, with its Place du Capitole; the cuisine of southwestern France; Caraman, with its swimming lake and Market. The names of the rooms have also been carefully chosen: “Violettes de Toulouse,” “Cocagne,” “Souleilla,” and “Canal du Midi” (an exceptional creation by Pierre-Paul Riquet, linking the Atlantic to the Mediterranean), which is 20 km from the holiday cottage. Revel-Lac-Saint-Ferréol is 23 km away: a Grand Site Occitanie, featuring a Swimming Lake and the Cité d’Art; and Carcassonne is 78 km away.

Two-story holiday cottage with a 300m² open garden and ample parking:
- Ground floor: entryway – separate restroom – fully equipped kitchen – living/dining room.
- First floor:
- “Souleilla” bedroom (1 double bed, 160x200 cm, and 2 single beds, 90x190 cm, on a mezzanine bed—please note: steep and narrow staircase, suitable only for independent kids and agile adults)
- “Canal du Midi” bedroom (1 double bed, 140x190 cm), each with its own private bathroom and toilet.
- “Violettes de Toulouse” Room (2 single beds, 90x190 cm, one of which is a pull-out bed available upon request).
- “Cocagne” Room (1 double bed, 160x200 cm). Shared bathroom and separate toilet for both rooms.
Reversible air conditioning in every room. Outdoor games: Molky, badminton, etc. Please note: the facade is currently undergoing renovation.
