Gite La Saubolle

Nestled in the heart of the Gers countryside, just 2 kms from Marciac, the Holiday cottage offers a true country escape with panoramic views over Marciac and the Gers hillsides. You can take full advantage of the above-ground swimming pool (to be shared with the owners), a real haven of coolness and relaxation on sunny days. The owners, Claude and Bernadette, live in the Semi-detached house and are very discreet, allowing you to enjoy your stay in complete privacy. Claude, an avid landaise racer and former "écarteur", will be delighted to share his passion with you.

Inside, you'll find a beautiful living room with a kitchen opening onto the dining area and lounge. A toilet is also available. A staircase leads to the first two bedrooms. One attic bedroom with velux window features a 100cm bed and 2 90cm bunk beds, and has its own shower room and private toilet. The second bedroom has a double bed (140cm), dressing room, shower room and private wc. The third bedroom is accessed by an outside staircase, and is equipped with a 160cm bed, dressing room, shower room and private toilet. As each bedroom is equipped with an Ethernet socket and a desk, it is possible to telework in this Holiday cottage as well as on the first floor.

Outside, a beautiful 3,000 m ² garden with private terrace, flowers, shade and a 4.50 m diameter above-ground swimming pool (shared) welcome you to relax. An orchard, vegetable garden, chickens and rabbits add a rural touch to the atmosphere. Games for Kids are available: Frisbee, soccer ball, rugby ball, bowling, petanque, a swing, kids' bikes, board games, books etc...

From the Holiday cottage, you have easy access to a number of Hiking trails that will take you to Marciac on foot or by bike. The location is ideal for discovering this peaceful region, a land of gastronomy and heritage, with its small villages, historic monuments and numerous producers of regional produce. Kids can enjoy horse-riding, accrobranche (tree climbing), a visit to an animal park, or a swim at the Marciac aqualudic center...

The Holiday cottage is equipped with an electric socket for recharging electric and hybrid cars at a cost of €6 per day or night.
