It's ideally situated in a peaceful setting, with a lovely terrace overlooking the old mining town of La Grand Combe.

At the gateway to Lozère and right in the heart of the Cévennes, you'll be close to numerous outdoor activities, hiking trails (GR44 on site and Tour du Galeizon), and the region's main sites (Parc National des Cévennes, Château de Portes, Maison du Mineur, Dinopedia, France's largest animated dinosaur park, Alès' museums and events...). For those ready to venture a little further afield, the Pont du Gard, the Nîmes arena or the Mediterranean beaches are less than 2 hours away.

La Grand Combe has its own train station, so you can get to Villefort, Nîmes or Le Grau du Roi without a car.

An outside staircase leads to the secure terrace, then to the living room/kitchen, lounge, 3 bedrooms, 2 of which have no doors (thick curtains). The shower room and toilet are on level -1.
Enclosed grounds, garden furniture, reserved parking for 2 in front of the property, washing machine, TV, Wi-Fi, nearby train station, bed linen rental, optional cleaning, central heating, heating package. Sleeps: 1 x 160cm bed + 1 x 140cm bed + 2 x 90cm beds.
Due to its many different levels, this gîte is not recommended for people with mobility difficulties.
