Come and enjoy the peace and scenery from the covered terrace, with its south-western view overlooking the village and nearby pine forests.
Within a 10 km radius, discover the castles of Sommières, classified as a "Petite Cité de Caractère", and Villevieille, the circulades of Souvignargues and Montpezat, the quarries of Junas, the boutis and the 3 mills of Calvisson. Horse-riding, pony-trekking, donkey-trekking, canoeing and stand-up paddling are all within easy reach. The Sommières-Caveirac greenway awaits you at the foot of the village, as do the signposted paths at the end of the cul-de-sac.
The Pont du Gard, Nîmes, Uzès, Aigues-Mortes, the Bambouseraie d'Anduze, Montpellier, Palavas and a host of exceptionally rich natural and historical sites are all within a 35km radius. The beaches of La Grande Motte are 30 minutes away. Sommières-Nîmes bus stop is a five-minute walk away. Shops are at the entrance to the village: 7/7 bakery, butcher, fishmonger, tobacconist/newsagent, grocery store, bicycle/coffee shop, pizzeria.

CARIBOU SUPERBE GITE
Superbe gîte! Rien ne manque. Jardin soigné. Propriétaires très prévenants et qui prennent le temps de vous parler des endroits à visiter , des commerces à proximité .Chemins de randonnée tout près du gite avec des surprises à voir sur le chemin( mazet et manade),la voie verte au bas du village .et tous ces sites à voir …. Bambouseraie, Pont du Gard, Sommières, Uzès ,Concluses de Lussan ,cascades du Sautadet … Excellent séjour!

Très heureux que vous ayez apprécié les sentiers de randonnée aux alentours et la découverte de leurs paysages. Petits et grands prennent plaisir à découvrir sanglier et marcassins, le renard, un rapace ou un champignon dans les pierres sculptées avec passion du mazet Lebrun à quelques centaines de mètres d'ici. Je crois que vous n'avez pas fini de visiter les alentours alors qui sait? Au plaisir! Bernard et Nicole

Sehr freundlicher Empfang durch die Familie des Eigentümers! Wir erhielten viele gute Tipps für unseren Aufenthalt. Vielen Dank nochmal an die Familie Tanguy! Wir waren schon in vielen Häusern unterwegs, aber so haben wir den Empfang noch nie erlebt!
Das Haus ist sehr gut und durchdacht eingerichtet - es fehlt wirklich an nichts.
Und die Bepflanzung des Gartens ist toll.
Die Lage des Hauses in Congénies ermöglicht Ausflüge in alle Richtungen mit vielen verschiedenen Eindrücken. Eine Woche Aufenthalt war definitiv zu kurz - wir werden wiederkommen.- Cleanliness

Gordon S. Beautiful Gite in a charmimg village
Bernard, from the first day, was pleasant and helpful, with many suggestions of places to visit, where to find restaurants, groceries, produce, bread, wine etc. The gite was a great reflection of his care and concern for our comfort. He went over in detail the use of the stove, washer. window screens and shutters. The gite was supplied with all needed amenities provided, and the grounds were beautifully cared for. He advised us of changes in the weather and approaching storms. We spent three weeks there and could not have had a better time. Thank you.
