In the pretty region of Uzès, charming gîte with 4 bedrooms, one of which is independent, and a 150m² courtyard with private swimming pool.

It was my grandfather's café...
This place has a long family history!
It was Gaston Maurin, my grandfather, who bought this house in 1920, with a few hectares of land and 2 horses. The stable is now the ground floor bedroom, where I wanted to keep the feed trough. The courtyard was dedicated to hens, turkeys, rabbits and pigs. The dining room was the attic where fodder was stored. An opening allowed the feed to fall to the horses.
In search of new income, he decided to open a café. You'll find the original sink in the back bedroom. The café remained open until 1962, when he passed away. The café played an important social role: every Sunday, men came to play belote and pétanque in the courtyard.
It was important for me to highlight this place, to which I'm very attached...and where I hope you'll enjoy your stay.

Village environment. Adjoining gîte with 1 dwelling. Large living room/kitchen, 4 bedrooms (one of which is independent of the gîte and can be accessed from the outside, and one with a mezzanine), each with its own shower room and separate toilet. Sleeps: 2 beds 140 x 200 + 4 beds 90 x 190 + 1 children's bed 90 x 190 on mezzanine. Bed linen and towels provided. 150m2 outdoor courtyard with 40m2 covered terrace, and small private swimming pool (3 x 3m - 0.90m deep).
