It also offers you the chance to contemplate the stars: since 2018, the Cévennes National Park has been classified as an International Dark Sky Reserve!

In and around the Gard, you can enjoy a variety of activities. Criss-cross the many hiking trails, visit caves and museums, explore charming medieval villages such as Sauve and Vézénobres, and a little further afield, Uzès and Aigues-Mortes, discover the natural beauty of the Gorges du Gardon and Pont du Gard, taste local wines in the region's cellars, and push your curiosity as far as the Camargue and the Mediterranean...
