At the top of the hamlet of Bernas, at the foot of the Cévennes and bordering the Ardèche, the mas is surrounded by olive groves, garrigue and overlooks the Cèze valley. Unspoilt nature for Hiking or meditation, a garden planted with olive trees, everything is within reach to enrich your chosen moments. The region abounds in natural sites, and as you stroll along you'll discover breathtaking landscapes, caves, cliffs and rivers.
There are countless Hiking trails to be explored from the maison perchée, and in the villages you'll find Provencal markets selling goat's cheese and Côtes du Rhône wine. Less than 20 minutes away by car, you'll discover France's most beautiful villages, from Lussan and Aiguèze to Cornillon and La Roque sur Cèze, all of which have preserved their authenticity.
Our hamlet, Bernas, is attached to the village of Montclus, classified as one of the most beautiful villages in France. Nestling in the hollow of the Cèze, surrounded by lavender fields, Montclus has retained all the charm of a medieval village, and can be reached in 3 minutes by car or 30 minutes on foot.
Barjac, a jewel of the Renaissance, is 11 km from La Maison Perchée. This pretty village with its narrow streets and vaulted passageways organizes two International Antiques and Brocante Fairs every year at Easter and August 15, bringing together 450 exhibitors.
Goudargues, a little Venice in the Gard Provençal, 9 km away, is the starting point for numerous mountain bike trails and canoe trips on the river Cèze. 45 km away is AVIGNON, where every July the world's biggest theater and live performance event takes place.

From the entrance gate, shared with the owners, you access your private patio, which leads to a living room with kitchen and sitting area that opens directly onto the patio, an open-air space.
Cross the patio to reach the two refined bedrooms with private entrances and ceiling fans: one bedroom with a 160 cm bed and 1 90 cm bed and bathroom with separate toilet, the other bedroom with a 160 cm bed and bathroom with separate toilet. Baby equipment: Umbrella bed - high chair - bathtub - potty. Free outdoor parking. Enclosed grounds of 1000 m2 with patio. Boules pitch. Piscine, swimming corridor, to be shared with the owners, open from May to October and depending on weather conditions, 12x2.5, depth 1m50.
