Welcome to Holiday cottage "La maison de Jean" !
Nestled in a Cevennes farmhouse in the hamlet of Villaret, our self-catering accommodation has been completely renovated and tastefully decorated. Enjoy the breathtaking view of the Hérault valley from our terrace, ideal for relaxing after a day's hiking. The proximity of the river also offers great opportunities for swimming and picnicking with family and friends.
Le Vigan, 11 km away, is a charming City with a lively local Market and numerous shops. Ganges, 17 km away, is another city worth visiting, with its typical architecture and Friday market. Opposite the Holiday cottage, 1.6 km away, there's an Origine Cévennes cooperative selling local produce.

Mildred un gîte merveilleux
Die Unterkunft war sehr gut, die Lage und Blick wunderbar, die Wohnung war sehr sauber, komfortabel mit allen Annehmlichkeiten. Sehr nützlich die Fliegengitter in allen Fenstern.
Der Vermieter war überaus freundlich, war jederzeit bereit, hilfreiche Tipps und Informationen zu geben.

Gregoire superbe séjour
Gîte très propre et parfaitement équipé, situé dans une grande bâtisse : très calme et paisible. Excellent accueil, discrétion et grande gentillesse du propriétaire et de sa famille. Un coup de cœur pour le jardin des Sambucs - situé juste en-dessous de la maison - qui vaut à lui seul le voyage.

Excellent séjour dans un lieu magnifique.
Le gîte est joliment décoré, propre et bien équipé. Il est proche des commodités ; petit + : une coopérative avec des produits locaux à 2 Km.
L'endroit est paisible , reposant et bien situé pour découvrir la région.
Tout y était... notamment des petites attentions à notre arrivée.
Merci à Rémy et sa compagne, ainsi qu'à sa fille et son gendre, pour leur accueil et leur extrême gentillesse.
