Close to the gîte, immerse yourself in history with a visit to the magnificent Château de Portes, a veritable Vaisseau des Cévennes. The view here is sublime at any time of day, with a preference for the evening to admire the celestial vault; the Parc National des Cévennes was awarded the 'Réserve de ciel étoilé' label in 2018.
