Bonnevaux is a small village full of character, set on a mountainside in a valley offering a view of terraced landscapes, with the Rhone valley in the distance. Surrounded by chestnut groves, this hamlet of stone houses is home to a small 11th-century Romanesque church.
It's the starting point for numerous hikes and excursions to nearby sites in the Cévennes National Park.
Eveline and Georg, former sheep breeders, welcome you to their gîte, renovated with respect for the environment.
The gîte is comfortable, fully equipped and easy to heat.
Numerous hiking possibilities, open all year round.

Kitchen/living room (microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, oven, hob with 3 gas burners and 1 electric, TV, radio with CD player, DVD player); 2 bedrooms with 160cm beds and 2 90cm beds + 1 child's bed; bathroom, 1 wc; terrace, garden furniture, plancha; parking; electric heating + wood-burning stove (wood supplied free of charge).

Well maintained gite in a lovely old Cevenne town. Ideal place for starting a hiking vacation.
Would come back myself and certainly would recommend it to friends.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour. Le gîte est très confortable et très bien équipé.

Gite parfait ,super accueil des propriétaires très gentils et toujours disponible pour tous renseignements . Nous étions venus pour randonner , nous avons étés comblés , tellement il y a de possibilités dans cette merveilleuse région cévenole .
