La Maquisarde

Looking for peace and quiet? La Maquisarde is the perfect place to recharge your batteries, relax and enjoy a breathtaking view all the way to the Monts Lacaune. This Holiday cottage is located on the heights of the Raspes gorges, isolated in the heart of a still wild nature where it's common to come across the paths of animals, such as deer, foxes etc. ... as well as a rich bird population! The bright, welcoming living room opens onto a large, sheltered, south-facing terrace... very pleasant in all seasons! There's also a wood-fired outdoor Sauna for a truly relaxing moment for body and mind!

Detached Holiday cottage, on 2 levels, secluded, next to the owner's house, in the Countryside - Ground floor: Kitchen/living area (4 gas rings, electric grill oven, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, electric coffee maker, kettle, pod coffee maker (Senséo), crepe maker, mixer, steam cooker, raclette machine, 1 toaster - 1 sofa, 1 armchair, TV, wood-burning stove), Shower room (1 basin, shower, WC) - 1st floor: 3 bedrooms (1 bed 160, 2 beds 140, 2 bunk beds 90), separate WC - Washing machine, iron and ironing board, vacuum cleaner, high chair and cot on request - Electric heating and the gentle warmth of a wood stove - Private enclosed wooden terrace (50 m²), with direct access to the outdoor sauna, garden furniture, barbecue, deckchairs - Private parking - Nordic bath (with supplement : 50€ per stay, to be booked and paid on site) - Tourist tax - Bed linen and towels provided (beds made on arrival), Housekeeping, heating and electricity included - Pets allowed under certain conditions: please ask the owners.

We accept animals under certain conditions, we are ourselves passionate about animals and have dogs, horses and donkeys, so we ask dog owners to keep their dogs under supervision outside, they will not have access to the floor and a deposit of 200 € will be requested on arrival. Well-behaved pets and responsible owners are welcome! Thank you for your understanding. Aggressive pets are not allowed!

A Norwegian bath/Jacuzzi has been added to the outdoor Spa facilities. The jacuzzi is available for a fee (wood and maintenance) of €50 for 2 sessions and €10 for each additional session, payable in cash on site.
The jacuzzi is wood-fired, and the spring water (the overflow) is replaced every time you stay, from November to May. In summer, we treat the water, which can be used as a refresher for young and old alike! ! concerning the Norwegian bath, we provide all the wood needed to prepare the fire and supply the stove (allow a heating time that varies according to the season-in winter around 4 hours for the 1st session-).
For safety reasons, we strongly advise against using the Spa on stormy days, and ask you to observe basic hygiene measures (rinse off before entering, remove self-tanner and tie back your hair). Travelers particularly appreciate enjoying the spa under a starry sky, or during the day with a view over the valley.
