You'll appreciate the living room with its fireplace on one side and a modern, integrated kitchen on the other. On the first floor, a bedroom and, upstairs, a mezzanine and a vaulted bedroom have been comfortably converted. Jo Fantastic stay in La Cledette!
Upon on arrival we were warmly welcomed by Madame, mother of the owners, who lives opposite the gite. She explained everything comprehensively and even briefly walked us around the village for familiarisation. During our stay Madame was always on hand for a friendly chat and gave us lots of delicious goodies including homemade jam.
The gite was very comfortable with everything you would need for a stay. Plenty of cutlery and utensils (with the exception of a bread knife). Plenty of storage in the bedroom and the bed was extremely comfortable. It was great to have a useable space outside for eating and relaxing.
The village of La Cavalerie is a great base to explore the surrounding area- Roquefort, La Couvertoirade, Nant, Gorges du Tarn to mention just a few.
A great home from home in the Aveyron, we hope to return.

Maison très agréable, fonctionnelle et très bien équipée avec un joli petit jardin. Excellente literie. Au calme. Vous pouvez découvrir le tarn, l'hérault, l'aubrac. L'accueil est super et Rosie toujours disponible et attentionnée. Je recommande.

Steve Pullinger The perfect location for a holiday in Aveyron
The house is very comfortable for a couple with a nice outside space. La Cavalerie is a lovely village with a historic atmosphere and the boulangerie and the bar with its local Larzac beers are superb. We finished with a visit to the Creperie situated in the ancient walls. Madame Aiglin who looks after the house for her family is a font of all local knowledge with great suggestions for days out and great pride in the local produce which is a must.
