Located between the Aubrac Plateau and the Lot Valley, the Bon’Auberg holiday cottage—whose name echoes that of the village and its warm welcome—invites you to enjoy a peaceful stay in the heart of unspoiled nature, where modern comfort blends with old-world charm. This family home, built in the late 18th century in the purest regional tradition, charms visitors with its slate roof, limestone walls, and oak beams. Carefully and thoroughly renovated, it has preserved all the character and authenticity of its original architecture. Nestled in a lush green setting, the hamlet of Bonauberg is surrounded by chestnut forests and bordered by the Boralde de Saint-Chély stream. It is an ideal place to recharge your batteries, in tune with nature and the changing seasons. Here, every season offers a different experience. In spring, the flora reveals a palette of vibrant colors. Summer invites you to hike through pastures, lakes, and forests, as well as to enjoy concerts and village festivals. Fall enchants with its flamboyant landscapes and the bellowing of the stags. In winter, when the Aubrac Plateau is blanketed in snow, it’s time for hiking and the joys of winter sports. Bon’Auberg is also an ideal starting point for exploring the Lot Valley and its remarkable villages full of character. The historic village of Saint-Côme-d’Olt is just 5 km away, while Rodez and its famous Soulages Museum promise an unmissable visit. Hiking enthusiasts will appreciate the immediate proximity of the GR® 65, the Way of St. James, located just 500 meters from the hamlet. Numerous other marked trails and routes also allow you to explore the surrounding landscapes, whether for challenging hiking or a leisurely family stroll.
