Close to the Canal du Midi, the starting point for many walks and bike rides. The Holiday cottage is 4 km from Castelnaudary. All shops nearby. Enjoy local cuisine (duck, charcuterie) and the famous Cassoulet de Castelnaudary. Numerous local producers (vegetables and fruit in season, poultry). The lakes of the Mountain Noire (St Ferréol, Lampy, Cammazes) are just 30 minutes away, offering great swimming and walking. Lake de la Ganguise (windsurfing). Halfway between Carcassonne and Toulouse, between the Pyrenees and the Mountain Noire. Mediterranean beaches 1h15 away. Many historic sites to visit: Benedictine Abbey of Saint Papoul, Revel, Soréze, Châteaux of Lastours, Fanjeaux, Cathar sites...

    Séjour parfait avec acces rapide au canal du midi

    Nous avons passé une belle semaine dans ce gite très spacieux et très propre.
    La propiétaire Sandy est très accueillante.
    Le gite est très bien situé pour l'accés en vélo sur le canal du midi.

    Genial

    Hemos pasado unos días estupendos. Nancy la propietaria muy atenta y acogedora. Nos dejó unos detalles de bienvenida que siempre se agradece. La casa estaba muy limpia y confortable. Además había comprado una diana para que los niños jugaran y lo pasaron en grande. Lo único es que los primeros días no conseguimos conectarnos al Wifi pero después ya sí. Nada importante. Si volvemos por la zona repetiremos seguro!!

    Excellent accueil de notre hôtesse Nancy dont les conseils furent précieux pour organiser notre séjour. La villa Caroline est charmante, avec tout l'équipement et le confort nécessaire pour 4 amis. Nous avons passé un agréable séjour au calme
