Each Holiday cottage is self-contained, with wooden fences delimiting the outdoor areas of each. The Holiday cottage is on the outskirts of the village of Fa, with lovely views over the village and surrounding hills. The lovely natural setting and fenced-in area in front of the house is ideal for a return to nature. Numerous signposted Hiking trails start from the Holiday cottage. For the more adventurous, you can enjoy whitewater sports on the Aude, canoeing and rafting just 8 kms away. Fishing in the 1st category is 4 kms away. 2 adult bicycles are available, and swimming in the Lake is 20 minutes away. The region is rich in culture. You're 20 to 30 minutes from the Cathar castles of Puivert and Montségur, and 45 minutes from Carcassonne. In the village of Fa, there's an itinerant Bakery and a small Restaurant. Otherwise, you'll find all the essentials in the surrounding villages. The owners also offer produce from their permaculture garden. As part of the Wellbeing theme, the owner offers a range of relaxation services on request and at extra cost: Californian massage, tummy and back massage, and energy treatments to relieve physical pain, stress and depression.
The Holiday cottage is all on one level: living room/kitchen opening onto the terrace with garden furniture, games for Kids and private barbecue, 1 master bedroom (140cm bed) with shower room and WC (handicapped accessible), and a second bedroom with 2 90cm beds. Second shower room with WC. Parking available on the property. Heating package extra.
