Located in Montseret, this gîte is situated between the medieval city of Carcassonne (40 km) and Narbonne (Cathédrale St Just, Musée de la romanité, 25 km). Near the village of Lagrasse, the abbey of Fontfroide, Cathar castles. From the gîte, many paths go through the Fontfroide massif up to the ponds (on foot or by bike) which will make you discover the garrigue and superb views.The house has a large volume, very bright. The setting is restful and quiet, the equipment is very complete: air conditioning, Wifi Internet, television, equipped kitchen, dishwasher, washing machine, etc... Bedroom on the first floor (bedding 160 x 200 cm), comfortable extra bed in the living room (2 beds 80 x 190 cm). Adjoining veranda, outdoor terrace with dining area; barbecue, plancha, petanque court. This gîte is in a property of 6000 m2 entirely enclosed, where the owners have their own house. The owners are passionate about gardening and will show you the Mediterranean garden they have patiently planted. Animals are accepted after agreement of the owner. The swimming pool is exclusive to the gîte, of the "Romane" type (7 x 4 m + steps, 1.2 m of water), tiled, with a solarium and shaded pergola.

5/5Die Gite Pauline ist eine gemütliche Unterkunft in einer sehr ruhigen natürlichen Umgebung. Sie befindet sich in einem wunderschönen Garten mit mediteranen Flair. Es fehlt an nichts, man hat den Wintergarten für kältere Temperaturen und den Pool,wenn es sommerlich wird, Liegen Terrasse.... Die Gastgeber sind sehr sympathisch, weltoffen und freundlich, verständnisvoll und hilfsbereit, zurückhaltend und respektvoll. Schade, dass wir nicht gut französisch sprechen, es gibt so viele interessante Themen, die Allain uns hätte näher bringen können und worüber wir uns auseinandersetzen könnten.So ging es schon mal in Englisch! Unsere Vorfreude auf ein Wiedersehen mit den Menschen und der Natur ist groß!!! Bis zum nächsten Jahr!
