Located in Montséret, Aude, near Carcassonne and the Sea, this comfortable Holiday cottage welcomes you to the heart of the Fontfroide massif.

Between the medieval city of Carcassonne (40 km) and Narbonne (25 km), famous for its Saint-Just cathedral and its Musée de la Romanité, near Lagrasse, ranked one of France's most beautiful villages, Fontfroide Abbey, the castles of the Cathar region, the Mediterranean beaches (30 km) and the Sigean African reserve. Nature lovers will be delighted by the many hiking and cycling trails that criss-cross the garrigue, lead to ponds or offer superb views over the region.

This Holiday cottage is set in a 6,000 m² fully enclosed property, where the owners have their own house. Passionate about gardening, they will show you around the Mediterranean garden they have patiently planted. The independent Holiday cottage is nestled in a quiet, leafy setting. The house's bright, open spaces and unpretentious comfort make for a natural vacation. The outdoor terrace with dining area, electric barbecue, petanque court and adjoining veranda invite you to live outside in all simplicity.

The private, fully tiled "Romane" swimming pool (7 x 4 m, 1.20 m deep) features a solarium and shaded pergola for summer days. An infrared sauna is also at your disposal for a moment of relaxation.

The Holiday cottage is fully equipped for a relaxing stay:
_ A living room with sitting area, TV, extra bed (2 x 80cm), dining area and open kitchen (dishwasher),
_ Bathroom with shower, toilet and washing machine.
Mezzanine bed upstairs: bedroom with 160cm bed.

Optional end-of-stay cleaning and bed linen provided. Towels are not provided. Electricity is extra, with meter readings at beginning and end of stay.
Pets allowed by prior arrangement.
