L'Oustal Marcellin is located in the heart of the medieval town of Fanjeaux, in the heart of the NATURA 2000 zone "Piège et Colline du Lauragais". Accommodation with "accueil vélo" label

Many places are within easy reach: the UNESCO-listed Cité de Carcassonne and Canal du Midi, Castelnaudary, capital of cassoulet, Montolieu, the book village, and Mirepoix, with its medieval covered market every Monday morning.

The Cathar castles of Lastours and Saissac, the abbeys of Saint-Papoul and Villelongue, and supervised swimming in lakes such as Saint Ferréol. The Haute Vallée de l'Aude is a great place for white-water kayaking.

The village has a playground for Kids and a multi-sports field, a tennis court and numerous shops within walking distance of the village square: bar-tabac-presse, Occitan burger, La Table Cathare restaurant, grocery store, bakery-pastry shop, Pharmacy, nurse. The Tourist Office is just a few meters from the Holiday cottage.

A public parking lot with charging stations is just a stone's throw from the Holiday cottage, and a second shaded parking area is also nearby. Free parking.

First floor: Living room with sofa, armchairs and TV, fully-equipped kitchen. Direct access to the patio with garden furniture and indoor barbecue area, plus storage space for sports equipment.

Upstairs: A first bedroom with a double bed (140cm), a bathroom with bath and washbasin, a separate toilet, a second bedroom with a double bed (140cm) and a sofa bed with reading area. This room gives access to the shady garden with deckchairs.

Non-smoking Holiday cottage. No party in Holiday cottage. Bed linen and towels provided.
