There are many attractions nearby: the Cité de Carcassonne and the Canal du Midi, both UNESCO World Heritage Sites; Castelnaudary, the “capital of cassoulet”; Montolieu, the “village of books”; and Mirepoix, with its medieval streets where a huge market comes to life every Monday morning.

The Cathar castles of Lastours and Saissac, the abbeys of Saint-Papoul and Villelongue, as well as supervised swimming areas in lakes such as Saint-Ferréol. Getaways to the Upper Aude Valley for whitewater kayaking will delight sports enthusiasts.

The village features a playground for kids and a multi-sport field, a tennis court, and numerous shops within walking distance on the square: a bar-tobacco-newsstand, an Occitan burger joint, the La Table Cathare restaurant, a grocery store, a bakery-pastry shop, a pharmacy, and a nurse’s office. The Tourist Office is located just a few meters from the holiday cottage.

A stone’s throw from the holiday cottage, you can park your vehicle in the public parking lot equipped with charging stations; a second shaded parking lot is also nearby. Free parking.

Ground floor: A living room with a sofa, armchairs, and TV, and a fully equipped separate kitchen. Direct access to the patio with garden furniture and an indoor barbecue area, as well as a storage space for sports equipment.

Upstairs: A first bedroom with a queen-size bed, a bathroom with a bathtub and sink, a separate toilet, a second bedroom with a queen-size bed and a sofa bed, plus a relaxation/reading area. This room opens onto the shaded garden with lounge chairs.

Non-smoking holiday cottage. No parties allowed in the cottage. Cotton bed linen, bathroom linen, and kitchen linens provided.
