Lovely gîte with high views over the Orbieu valley

Ideally located in the heart of Cathar Country, in a haven of peace and tranquility, in a small village with just twenty or so residents. The medieval village of Lagrasse is 12 km away, the Château de Termes and its viewpoints are 10 km away, and Carcassonne is an hour’s drive away, as is the citadel of Peyrepertuse. Many cultural sites are therefore nearby, as well as numerous hiking trails in the Corbières Regional Nature Park. Swimming is possible at various locations, notably in the Orbieu River just 500 meters away. Other sites such as Ribaute are 15 km away.

You access the holiday cottage from the private parking lot via a staircase that leads up to the front of the stone house with the terrace. The holiday cottage has three levels. On the ground floor: a living room with a fireplace insert (wood provided) and a kitchenette. A bathroom with a shower, a toilet, and a washing machine. On the first floor: a relaxation area with a TV and a library. Next, a bedroom with a 140-cm bed and a 90-cm bed. On the second floor: a bathroom with a toilet, a large bedroom with a ceiling fan, a 140 cm bed, and two 90 cm beds. At the parking area, a lovely outdoor space with games (a swing and a ping-pong table).
