L'Ourtizet

In a small mountain village in the Cathar Pyrenees, surrounded by unspoilt countryside, ideal for hiking and discovering high-altitude flora and fauna (birds of prey, marmots, stag bellowing, vultures...), communal gîte on 2 levels.

Garden level: living room with kitchen, separate toilet. Upstairs: 4 bedrooms (2 x 140 cm beds for 2 people and 6 x 90 cm single beds), shower room, separate wc. The Holiday cottage opens onto an adjoining, unfenced garden with barbecue and garden furniture.

Nearby: numerous Hiking, mountain-biking, horse-riding and fishing trails. The Camurac ski resort (18 km) offers ski slopes and snow activities (snowshoeing, cross-country skiing) in winter and cycling, mountain biking, etc. in summer. Whitewater sports in the upper Aude valley at Axat (25 km), climbing gym and lake at Belcaire (13 km). Local produce: charcuterie, potatoes from the Pays de Sault, cheeses, trout at Lafajolle, local produce markets at Roquefeuil (July and August). Places to visit: Châteaux of Puilaurens, Puivert, Montségur, dinosaur museum at Espéraza... Local festival in the village square next to the Holiday cottage during the week of August 15.

Cleaning is the responsibility of tenants, or offered on site as an option at 50€.
- actual electricity consumption is billed at €0.25/KwH (after deduction of a flat-rate charge of 2KwH/pers./rental day) - from early November to late April: a compulsory warm-up charge (not including electricity consumption) is billed in addition to actual consumption at €45.

bedding is not supplied, with the exception of mattresses and protective undersheets (disinfected mattresses, undersheets washed at +60° and disinfected with each new rental). The premises, furniture and sanitary facilities are fully sanitized and disinfected with each new rental.
