The house is located in one of the most beautiful villages near the coast of the «departement de l’Aude»in the heart of the nature reserve of the «Narbonnaise».Nearby the large«etang de Bages Sigean» enables nice walks just as easily to the «Doul» with high salinity and a small beach, than to old « salt marshes » through a lane built on piles. The avifauna which may be seen is quite impressive : it includes pink flamingos, egrets, herons,wading birds... Moreover there are both a fortified church built in the 14th century and a small archeological museum. The big animal nature reserve « Reserve africaine » is about 10 mn. Narbonne with its cathedral St Just is about 15 mn. Many beauty spots can be reached in about 1 hour drive namely Carcassonne and its medieval town, cathar castles, the catalan town Perpignan.
Inside the village there are some shops (bakery, small grocery), wine cellars restaurants,and health services (pharmacy, physicians, nurses)
The house :
On the ground floor there are a living room, a dining room, a kitchen (electric cooker, dishwasher, washing machine, electric kettle, coffee machine, toaster and fridge with freezer compartment. On the first floor, 2 bedrooms with beds 1,60 and 1 room with 2 beds 0,90 wide, you will have the choice between one of the 3 rooms, a shower and WC inside. Sheets and bathroom linen are supplied.
