Ideally located for exploring the wonders of the South-West, this Holiday cottage offers you a nature break just minutes from the must-see sites. Just 20 minutes from the majestic medieval city of Carcassonne and the impressive châteaux of Lastours, you can also visit the famous Brousses paper mill and soak up the rich culture of the village of Montolieu, renowned for its many booksellers and artists, just 10 minutes away. Nearby, the hills of the Tarn and the tranquil banks of the Canal du Midi invite you to explore, with walks, hikes and mountain bike rides.

The Holiday cottage Les Jardins de l'Araucaria, adjoining the owners' house, is nestled in a green and serene setting on the outskirts of a small Cabardès village. You'll find a peaceful atmosphere, ideal for recharging your batteries, surrounded by forests that lend themselves perfectly to beautiful Hiking or cycling outings. Whether you're a nature lover, history buff or simply looking for a quiet, authentic stay, this is the place for you.

The Holiday cottage has a first floor with :
- a fully-equipped living room/kitchen (TV/TNT, hi-fi system),

Upstairs:
- A bedroom with a 160cm bed,
- A second bedroom with 2 90cm beds,
- A bathroom with bath and washbasin,
- A separate toilet,

Outside, a large flower-filled garden shared with the owners. The Piscine (8x3.50) is heated from mid-May to mid-September, and is accessible at special times (9:30am/12pm and 2pm/16:30pm), with the possibility of adapting the times to suit your daily activities.
For Kids, open-air games are available, including a trampoline and a soccer cage.

The owners are discreet but helpful, and will make your stay as pleasant as possible. Their adorable Australian Shepherd, a very friendly dog, is also part of the adventure. Always ready for a caress or a bite to eat
